Planet Dryers

Planet Flowline has developed over the years a wide range of Dryers, primarily designed for the snack food industry and exported all over the world.

Operating on extruded snack foods and coated cereals, the machines vary in size from 300 to 1000kg/hr and include both single and triple pass designs.

The Dryers, which are manufactured in the United Kingdom, utilise a side chained, driven woven wire belt system.  The mesh sizes, chosen from a range, are product dependent, allowing small particles to be handled if required, which is often the case.

A band wash system can be supplied allowing sugar coatings to be dried.  Using this system, the conveyor is washed using a water spray system and brushes clean top and bottom surfaces of the conveyor. An air knife   removes the water before the belt re-enters the dryer.

As the machines are manufactured using stainless steel construction as standard, all the dryers can be fully washed internally.  As full access is provided all around the machine using full length access doors and hatches, cleaning and maintenance is carried out quickly and easily.
